Elementary Classes

Elementary Dancers (K-6th grade)

We offer several different options for our elementary age dancers. There is something for everyone, whether it be recreational, competitive, boys, or the ones who want to give dance a try without committing for the full year. Please read through the class descriptions to find what fits your dancers needs/wants best. These classes are offered in various age groups; level 1 is for dancers age K-1st grade, level 2 is 2nd-3rd, and our level 3 is for 4th- 6th graders. As you scroll down we first have our classes set up by individual dance style. Following are our combination classes with more performance opportunities. Please also check out our Dance 101 class which runs in 6 week sessions and our boys club classes, both featured on their own pages.

Firecrackers are bundles of energy just waiting to explode! In these classes your child will discover hidden talents, perform at halftime shows, learn how to be a part of a team, and have fun! Our Firecracker dance classes are specifically designed to introduce young dancers ages (5-8) to the joys of performing. In addition to performing at recital they will be given the opportunity to perform in a big production number at local basketball halftimes. This is a great way for young dancers to see if they have the performing “bug” and decide if dance is something they want to pursue. Firecrackers 1 and 2 attend class once a week and will spend 30 minutes learning jazz and 30 minutes learning power tap technique and choreography. Splitting our time in these classes is the perfect way to keep these young dancers energetic, interested, and moving!
